About the property:

The house is situated on the edge of the village and has far reaching uninterrupted views to the surrounding hills.
The architect designed house is single story with an open plan living area that is open to the roof. It is south facing with windows with large French windows opening to the garden. The house is simply but comfortably furnished.

The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge with ice compartment and coffee maker. There is a large dining table with seating for eight. The seating area has a sofa and arm chair and various other chairs. The bedroom and shower room are off the living area. The bedroom has a double (15cm) futon style bed. The modern tiled shower room has a purpose-built shower, sink and WC and houses the washing machine. The mezzanine area has a mattress bed suitable for children it is reached by an open tread staircase to the side of the kitchen.

The swimming pool is to the side of the house, the surrounding courtyard area offers shade from the heat of the day. The pool is approximately 12m x2.5m with a maximum depth of 1.8m. The grounds surrounding the house extend to more than 10,000 square meters, planted with trees and local shrubs. There are table and chairs for dining and sun loungers for sunbathing.

There is plenty of parking within the grounds. A Wi-Fi connection is available for your use, sheets and towels are provided. The village is a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the house. The house is not isolated as there are other houses in the vicinity.



St Pargoire

A typically Occitan village nestling in the countryside within half an hour of the coast.
There are lots of walks in the surrounding area with some paths also suitable for cycling. The village has a bakery, butcher, small supermarket and a choice of both cafes and restaurants. There is a small weekly market. One of the village churches hosts church of England services once a month.

There are many independent wine makers in the village and surrounds where you will be able to taste and buy directly.
