Cabrieres
Cabrieres is a small village steeped in history. There is a flourishing wine industry and is particularly known for its Clairette a lovely dry white wine which is the ideal accompaniment for locally produced oysters. The village is at the foot of the Pic Vissou which is popular with hang gliders, the surrounding hills and countryside has a wealth of marked paths for both walking and cycling.
There is a popular bar and restaurant in the village and a small convenience store which has daily deliveries of fresh bakery goods.
Cabrieres is situated between Clermont L Herault and Pezenas, both towns offer traditional markets, an excellent choice of restaurants, supermarkets and shops.
Beautiful Lake Salagou is a ten minute drive, here you will find a great choice of water sports including sailing, canoeing, swimming, wind surfing and pedaloes.
