About the property:

Situated in a quiet residential area this well presented detached villa is an easy walk to the lagoon and a five minute drive from the long sandy beaches at Marseillan Plage. There are four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with fully fitted wardrobes. The single bedroom is suitable for children and has an additional pull-out single bed. The bathroom has a bath with a hand held shower and wash hand basin, there is a separate WC. There is a further double bedroom with a standard double bed off the living room.

The spacious living area has French windows onto the terrace, the living area is furnished with two comfortable sofas, dining table with chairs for six, and a wall hung TV with French channels and a DVD player.

Above the kitchen is a mezzanine area with a sofa bed.

The fully fitted modern kitchen includes an electric oven with ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher as well as a range of useful small kitchen appliances.

A separate laundry room houses the washing machine.

All rooms are equipped with fans, a free broadband internet connection is available for your use.

The garden and pool area are to the rear and side of the house, the pool surround and terrace areas have wooden decking. There is a purpose built BBQ and plenty of garden furniture including sun-loungers, parasols and tables and chairs for dining. The pool has roman steps and is 3.5m x 6.5m and has a depth of 1.4m throughout. The garden is enclosed and is planted with Mediterranean shrubs and flowering plants.
Parking is to the front of the house.

 
 

ABOUT THE VILLAGE:

Marseillan



The pretty fishing port of Marseillan boasts many top class restaurants. Several of these are to be found on the quay where you can watch the boats sail past whilst sipping your cool glass of the local picpoul white wine: the perfect seafood accompagnment. The village is on the Bassin du Thau famous for its oyster and mussel beds. The long sandy beaches between Sete and Agde are a short ten minute drive. The village has a permenant indoor market selling fresh local produce as well as a Tuesday morning street market. Each weekend there is one of the regions largest brocante and flea markets held year round on Saturday and Sunday at Marseillan Plage.The village is easily accessible from both Beziers and Montpellier airports or Agde for the TGV train. The village offers a sailing school and Tennis courts and bike hire. In the surrounding countryside you can visit many wine producers and the village is itself home to the producer of Noilly Prat.
