The Renaissance town of Pezenas is renown for it's connection with the famous playwright Moliere. It is a lively town with a wide range of shops and services. During the summer months on Tuesday and Friday evening shops in the historic centre open to midnight and street entertainers abound. Pezenas also plays host to several music and culteral events throughout the year.

Pezenas has become a year round treasure trove of antique  and 'brocante' shops. Twice a year there is a huge street sale which brings together sellers from throughout Southern France.

The Saturday market is worth a special visit for a wide range of local produce.

Pezenas is approximately 30 mins from the sandy beaches. Sailing and Windsurfing at Lake Salagou, 20 mins away. A choice of Golf courses available at Beziers and Montpellier. Montpellier International Airport 45 mins.
