Situated within the grounds of a wine growers property the house has been completely restored and renovated in the local style by its French owner an opera singer now living in London.

There is a separate entrance to the property from the street with independent access to the house. The large front garden is planted with ancient olive trees and shady pines.

Exposed beams, stonework and an ancient stone sink are all original features that contribute to the rustic charm of this country home.

The sunny south facing, flower filled courtyard is completely private, with its fish-pond and fountain it is the perfect spot for sunbathing and outdoor meals.

Open plan living area on first floor with small but well planned kitchen. Double bedded room. Modern bathroom with WC, bath and overhead shower. Huge vaulted living room on ground floor opens via French windows into courtyard.

Parking is off the street just outside the walls of the property. Washing machine, music centre. Electric heating. Linen is included in the rental price. Montpeyroux

Montpeyroux is a lively village where visitors are encouraged to join in the summer fetes, which take place during July and August. It is well served with shops including a bakery/patisserie, Butcher,grocers, tabaconist/newsagent, post office, cafe and restaurant/wine bar. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes drive in Gignac. The village is renown for its wine and boasts several of the region's best producers. Swim at Mediterranean beaches 35 mins, Lac Salagou 10 mins, Herault river 10 mins. There is excellent walking and cycling from the front door and surrounding hills.
